Why Paris, France?

Why are we choosing to go to Paris, France? Simply put, there are two reasons.
1. We love the French.
2. We see a great need for the French to meet the real Jesus.

Paris is a place rich in culture and full of architectural accomplishments. When one walks the streets of Paris, one quickly notices that all of the buildings are only 6 stories high—the reason, however, of honoring the church and what it stands for by surpassing it above the rest of the city, has long been forgotten. Paris also is a city that shuts down on Sundays—thankfully, it's a time for family, but sadly it's not usually a time spent with God. Paris is full of people who see Jesus as someone who is weak—a place where Mary is exalted above Him, but Atheism even above her. Only .3% of French citizens claim to be evangelical Christians. Parisians need to meet the real Jesus—and when they do, we know lives will be changed.
